What We’re Watching
Tensor
While it’s taken a breather over the past couple of weeks, Solana has been in the spotlight over the past few months. Whether it’s airdrop farming, new projects, or new token launches, activity has steadily been flowing to alt L1s, and more specifically, Solana. After <10,000 wallets qualified for the Jito airdrop netting >10K per wallet, people started to pay even more attention to these Solana airdrops. While most of the larger airdrop opportunities like Margin, Kamino, and others are relatively diluted at this point, Tensor could be one of the better places to place your SOL. Due to its complexity (bidding, listing, and market-making NFTs), it seems very likely that most people aren’t positioned for the eventual $TNSR airdrop.
If you aren’t sure where to start in regards to farming Tensor, this thread does a great job of getting you started.
Again, Tensor seems extremely underfarmed in comparison to other Solana projects due to its complexity (you can’t just deposit tokens). Farming Tensor also allows you to get some exposure to Solana via NFTs, which could be an additional selling point if you’ve been underexposed to the Solana ecosystem.
Restaking
We’ve talked extensively about restaking protocols in the past, and this continues to be one of the hottest narratives in the current market. Eigenlayer will likely launch at a $10-20B FDV sometime this year, and some of this value will likely flow to beta plays such as LRTs and other restaking projects. While it’s hard to bet on this narrative right now, there are ways to get exposure to this through SSV Network, Restake Finance, and Picasso Network. Each of these projects are tackling a different vertical when it comes to restaking, with SSV focusing on DVT, Restake on LRTs, and Picasso on Solana restaking.
